Freeman's Bakery started with a simple conviction: bread should taste like bread again. Not the soft, shelf-stable stuff you find in plastic bags. Real bread. The kind that crackles when you tear it open and smells like your kitchen became a bakery.
We bake here in Moatsville, using a 48-hour cold-ferment process that develops flavor no shortcut can replicate. Our sourdough starters are older than most recipes. Our flour is stone-milled. Our ovens fire up before dawn so the first thing you smell when you walk in is something worth stopping for.
This isn't a factory. It's a bakery. There's a difference.
